The Lake Lanier Striper Bite Continues to Be Very Good

Shane Watson Guide Service Report (03-17-09). The stripers have been on fire for the last 5 days or so and the last 2 mornings have been no exception. We are catching and releasing many stripers daily on freelined bluebacks. Your bluebacks have to be of decent size, of good quality, and changed frequently for best results. These fish are really blowing up on the freelines well. Spring is here and it is so great to a see a 20-30 pound fish blowing up on a freeline that is 10-15 feet behind the boat.
