This Hall County campground and park opens at 10 a.m. year-round and has 46 RV sites and 16 tent sites. Gates close at 8 p.m. during in-season months (March 1-Dec. 31; closed January and February.) Fees vary. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival, with payment in full and a reservation fee of $5. Checkout time is 1 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday and major holidays. Campers receive Wednesday free if they camp on Monday and Tuesday. Amenities include 118-acre park, 24-hour security, three picnic shelters, 60 picnic sites with grills, boat ramp, 40,000-square-foot beach with volleyball net, four playgrounds, handicapped access picnic sites, 63 campsites with electric and water hook-ups, five restroom/shower buildings, bathhouse with showers, sewer pump out station for RV/campers, horseshoe pits.
