With Vineyard Fest fast approaching, we have provided below the latest insider information for our biggest harvest celebration and wine tasting event yet here at the Chateau Elan Winery on Sunday August 30th, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Secure your tickets soon, free shipping ends Monday 2 p.m. after which 2-day and overnight charges apply while tickets remain. Tickets may only be obtained by pre-order only, and will not be available the day of the event. Tickets are $75 each and are all-inclusive of wine, food, and activities.

WINES
There are currently 22 wineries, vineyards, and vintners pouring over 140 national, international, and regional wines. Plus, New Century Brewing will be showcasing their Edison Beer. All wine tasting will take place in our newly renovated and air-conditioned Winery Pavilion.

FOOD
Tickets are all-inclusive of wine tasting, in addition to an excellent fixed menu of food served by 6 of the restaurants on property; from grilled free-range chicken, to antipasto, and even bangers'n mash from our Irish pub. Food will be served beneath the festival's massive outdoor tent.


DEMONSTRATIONS

  • Culinary demonstrations will be taking place in the Culinary Studio in the winery at 1, 2:30, and 4 p.m. Wine Seminars will also be taking place in 2nd floor of the Winery's Bordeaux Room, times to be announced.
  • Spa Tours, take a guided tour of the luxurious 33,000 sq ft European style Spa complete with themed suites. 2, 2:30, 3, and 3:30 p.m. Inquire at the information desk in the Winery entrance to participate.

 

ENTERTAINMENT

  • The band League of Decency is returning again this year and will be performing in the food tent from 1-5 p.m.
  • Self-guided Wine Tours of the Winery facilities are available, in addition to the Wine Market being open.
  • Artist Susanne Sullivan will be showcasing her wine and food themed artwork in the Winery Art Gallery.
  • The annual favorite: Grape Stomping will be going on throughout the event for those who wish to brave the old tradition.

  • Winemaker & Chef Dinner Package for Two, Saturday Night, Aug 29th 2009: Join the Winemaker & Chef Saturday night for a 5-Course dinner with wine service, specially labeled bottle of wine, breakfast for two, and 2 Tickets for the festival the following day. $569+tax for Double Beds room, $599+tax for King Bed room. DETAILS
Winery is closed to non-ticket holders on the day of the event. This is a 21 and over event. You MUST present valid ID with ticket for entry. Event goes on rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
