It is time to get your boat wet at Lake Lanier. The big boost in the water level has prompted the majority of boat ramps to open. Some campgrounds are also opening. One of the parks in Dawson County has opened the park to campers and all of their boat ramps are open. Lake Lanier has surged to 1062.63 which is only a little over 8 feet to full pool. With the boat ramps being opened, there are very little room for excuses not to visit Lake Lanier this spring and summer. Fishing season is here and the weather is warming up..time to go to the lake!
