The water level at Lake Lanier has been high all winter making the drought seem like a fizzling memory.
It is late February and spring is only a few months away and the also the start of boating season. 
Lake Lanier is currently at 1070.78 and rising after storms rolled through the area early Monday morning. 
This has been a very cold and rainy winter that has been keeping the Corps busy releasing water from Lake Lanier and other lakes downstream.
