Reclamation is the process of reclaiming something from loss or from a less useful condition. It is generally used of water reclamation, which, a century ago meant damming streams (thus the US Bureau of Reclamation owning dams), and now has come to be used to describe wastewater reclamation.

This cache is a tribute to reclamation. If you look around, you will see sprinklers from a nearby wastewater reclamation system installed to place PUREified, treated water back into the water table. This is also the reclamation of an archived cache location. As we searched out the area to become home for a new cache, we happened upon a container that had not been found for four years. We chose to reclaim the area to be more productive for geocachers hunting an easy find.
