Wow, check it it out! This new listing just hit the market on Lake Lanier. At nearly $800,000 it sits on an acre of land and has a covered single-slip dock. What? Not to your liking? Maybe it’s the exterior of the home? Or maybe you don’t like the kitchen. Of course, how would you know.

It’s one of my biggest pet peeves as a listing agent and it should be a big concern for sellers as well. Unfortunately for them, they don’t know what they don’t know. So when this new listing shows up in the saved search of every lake buyer looking for a property like this, they think the same thing, “The house must be a dump”.

So back to my question, is this new listing a Lost Cause or a Lost Opportunity? The world may never know….
