Lake Lanier got enough rain yesterday to offset the evaporation over the weekend.  The lake is staying steady at 1065.98 and more rain is expected this week in the form of isolated storms.  Heavy storms pounded the areas around the lake last night that contained more lightning than rain.  The lake needs more rain to sustain the lake level during the dry periods that are still to come.
