Sunday and today have brought in Lake Lanier's first cold snap for the Fall of 2009. The temps dropped into the mid to low 30's last night. Sunday was a chilly day, but an absolutely beautiful day for boating and taking in some of Lake Lanier's Autumn beauty. We boated up the Chestatee River area to Athens Boat Club and around Thompson Creek. This time of year is just tremendous for boating. The lake is changing colors and the boat traffic is light. With the lake over full pool, everything is right with the world. I took the opportunity to dress in some of my finest lake attire!
