DID YOU KNOW that more than 20% of children and nearly 12% of senior citizens in Georgia live in poverty (U.S. Census Bureau)? Since 1979, the Atlanta Community Food Bank has been dedicated to providing food and other critical resources to low-income Georgians who suffer from hunger and food insecurity. This incredible agency delivers more than 20 million pounds of food and grocery products to over 700 partner nonprofits that provide food assistance to families and individuals in 38 counties in metro Atlanta and North Georgia. This weekend, guests of Chattahoochee Rapids Beach & WaterPark who donate 2 non-perishable food items at the WaterPark entrance will receive $5 off their daily admission. Current Season Pass Holders who donate 2 non-perishable food items will receive a coupon for their choice of free tube rental (based on availability) or a free large ICEE.
