The lack of dry weather has calmed the news media covering the water war.  A dry Lake Lanier exposing its depths is all but a memory for some.  As the topic of Lake Lanier has cooled during this time of rain, we still need to defend Lake Lanier and this important water source for Atlanta.  The dry weather will return and unless the water war is won, Atlanta could lose access to a vital resource. 

One thing is for sure, this is going to be another great year for boating on Lake Lanier.
