Lake Lanier got some spotty rain showers yesterday but it did not stop the lake from dropping almost and inch since Tuesday.  Currently, Lake Lanier is at 1064.88 and continuing to drop.  The chances of rain have been diminished over the next couple of days so don't expect any gains in the lake level in the near future.  The days are ticking down for Atlanta to find a new water supply unless an act of Congress will grant access to water in Lake Lanier.  Atlanta, don't hold your breath...
