See those stories on the local news this week about how deer were straying all over the road and into cars around Buford Dam?
Well, the Corps has a solution. Next month, 21 of you hunters will be allowed on Corps property around the dam.
The Corps say food is getting scarce for the deer as their population grew rapidly. The Corps thinks there's around 100 deer living around the dam right now. They'll allow each hunter to kill two deer, effectively halving the local population.
The hunters will be chosen by an open lottery ... details to follow later.
