A 70 year old man from Lilburn drowned at Lake Lanier on Saturday, near Sawanee Campground.  The man was attempting to swim to an island at the lake and went under 80 yards from the shore.  This is the 3rd drowning at Lake Lanier this year.  

Today the lake level has remained the same 1065.33.  Rain moved across the lake Saturday night so hopefully the lake level will respond.
