Lake Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club LogoThe Lake Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club was the location for the 1996 Olympic Games kayaking events. Its now a vital part of the Lake Lanier community with canoe and kayak events and training.

Mission

Their mission is to serve as a catalyst and as a legacy program of the 1996 Olympic Games and to promote health, education and fitness for all ages and abilities through quality flatwater canoe and kayak programs while continuing the Olympic spirit by promoting excellence in competitive teams. The Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club will seek opportunities to host events that will have an economic and social impact on the community.

Programs

The Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club competitive training programs create opportunities for youth in Flatwater Canoeing and Kayaking as well as developing discipline, focus, goal setting and other invaluable life skills.
