Fishing Report Archive

Just a quick report before I head back out on the lake. The striper fishing has been very good on downlined bluebacks fished 30 to 40 feet deep over a 40 to 80 foot bottom, on and just off the main lake. Mid-lake and south are both producing well most days. Leadcore and u-rigs are also working.

We are catching bigger fish further south and school size stripers mid-lake and just a little further north. We are in that great summertime pattern of downlining and trolling on Lake Lanier and it will last thru the end of Sept. We are running morning and afternoon trips 7 days a week on our boats. It's a great time of the year to take kids or family fishing.
