Mid-lake and south have produced best on Lake Lanier this past week and Capt. Mack's 4 arm shad body u-rigs have been the most consistent producer. When the birds have been diving and the fish have been close to the surface, freelined bluebacks, small trout, and bucktails have worked well.

There are stripers in the middle to the rear of just about every creek you go into mid-lake and south. Keep moving until you find active fish for best success. The store now has bluebacks for 4.99 per dozen.
