Local Church Uses Lake Lanier as Baptismal

Blackshear Place Baptist Church held it's forth annual Family Fun Day at Lake Lanier Sunday, enjoying fellowship with members and also baptizing over 50 people in the natural outdoor setting of the lake.

This is one of highlights on the church's calendar and they do a great job of preparing for the event, renting out the entire Lake Lanier Islands Beach and Water Park.

The baptisms were presided over by senior pastor Jeff Crook and included a mix of new believers and church members re-affirming their beliefs. 

In addition to the baptisms, the festivities also included tables loaded with good food and the opportunity to enjoy the beach and water park with a large gathering of other members.
