2009 Lanier Sprints Event

Crews from the Lake Lanier Rowing Club, Georgia State University, the University of Georgia, the Charleston Rowing Club, the St. Andrews Rowing Club, the Atlanta, Nashville and Asheville Rowing Clubs participated in 29 races on Saturday for the 2009 Lanier Sprints at the Lake Lanier Olympic venue.

Participation was up 20 percent from last year and the rowers enjoyed beautiful weather and good competition.

The Lake Lanier Rowing Club placed in 17 of the 29 races with six first places finishes including a first by the Mixed Masters crew.
