Shane Watson Guide Service, Lake Lanier Striper Report. The striper fishing remains very, very good on freeline trout. We continue to catch decent numbers on the white Sebile, but not as many as on the trout. This morning the stripers were on fire, as we caught many stripers up to 15 pounds. The fish were rolling on top under birds and they were thick just under the surface. It was cold, but slick calm and the fish were feeding well.
