Shane Watson Guide Service Monday Report. The stripers were on fire this morning inspite of the east wind. When the sun came out at mid-morning they went crazy for about and hour and a half. We caught many stripers on our boats up to 21 pounds on downline bluebacks fished 40 feet deep over a 80-90 foot bottom, just off the main channel, out in the wind. We had to downline with our big motor as the trolling motor was a waste of time in the wind. I did not

do any leadcore trolling this morning, but I bet it was good. I talked to many folks that did well on live bait all over the southend. Except for the wind, the morning was perfect, the fishing was as good as it gets for size and numbers. The picture above is not from today, but from a trip the other day. I forgot to pick up my camera this morning when I went out the door. My customers from today are e-mailing pictures and I will post them later this week. On another note the store has switched to fall hours which are 5am-7pm Monday Thru Saturday. Sunday, open from 5am-6pm. Also, Jason has finished the Hammond's Fishing Center Online Store. He has spent a lot of time and effort on this site and it has really turned out nice. Most everything that the store sells can be ordered and shipped anywhere from the website. Check it out at
www.hammondsfishing.com or you can call the store at 770-888-6898 for more information. We appreciate everyone's business. Good Fishing.
