| Lake Lanier clearly has attracted people throughout its 51 years. There's even 2% of the respondents who have been coming here since 1957!

| 20% live on the lake Lanier, and another 25% are from Atlanta, but nearly half the respondents live off the lake in surrounding areas.

In contrast to last year when the vast majority of people visited Buford and the islands at the lake's south end, a large number now go to Gainesville the lake's middle:

| Big Creek Tavern is the winner for the second year in a row, this time by an even larger percentage. Dockside Grill take second place once more.

| Whereas the restaurant vote was much more decisive than last year, the marina results were much closer. Holiday Marina wins again but by a much smaller percentage from Aqualand which finishes second once more.

| In contrast to the close restaurant vote, we had a runaway winner in the marina competition. Holiday Marina proved to be almost twice as popular as its nearest rival Aqualand Marina. Congratulations to Holiday Marina! | |

| The two most popular aspects of Lanier reflect answers we saw earlier ... people love boating and they love easy access to Atlana.

| Water levels were the clear winner here with a few variations such as "Ramps too short" and "Corps managment of water".

| People aren't particularly optimistic, predicting that it will take between two and five years to return to the levels we've enjoyed in recent year. | |
